Which snakes live in the Hua Hin area of Thailand? Which are dangerous, which aren’t?

Like many areas of Thailand, Hua Hin is home to a variety of snakes, including some that are venomous and potentially dangerous, ranging from mildly venomous (harmless to humans) to extremely venomous and potentially deadly, here is a list:

Harmless Snakes of Hua Hin

Here is a list of the harmless snakes that can be found in the Hua Hin / Cha Am / Pranburi area. The Sun icon indicates the species is active during the day and the Moon symbol indicates it is active by night. Keep in mind that the colors and patterns can vary slightly depending on the individual and therefore the snake you saw may not look exactly as the ones pictured here:
