Although all Hana homes are custom designed and built, (aluminium, UPVC, etc. are available) the preference is using wood (‘Mai Tang’ teak) for sliding door and window frames for the following reasons: it is easier to maintain (when aluminium/UPVC yellows with age and requires maintenance, it must all be removed, exposing your house and at quite an expense), wood looks better, and wood increases in value as soon as it is installed where as other materials decrease in value as soon as they are installed.
Our stones are sourced carefully both locally in Prachuap Kiri Khan and in Korat and other areas of Isaan also. We use the best fittings available and only the highest spec electric and plumbing materials.

All designs are custom, although there are some standard floor plans that have evolved from experience which we can use as a starting point from which to work. Both Balinese and Western designs are available, and now flat-roof, ultra-modern styles are also on offer.
Typically design features include the following: high ceilings, large windows, huge terraces, natural stones and wood, Balinese courtyards and entrance ways, outdoor kitchens, lakes, free-form pools, large driveways with parking hidden from view, and an extremely well thought out use of space and placement.
