We highly recommend the VIP bus service to travel between Hua Hin and Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
The bus departs from Hua Hin bus terminal near Market Village, and makes 1 brief pick up in Cha Am before driving straight to Bangkok. It is not as fast as a minivan or taxi, however, has the benefits of fully reclining seats, plenty of luggage space, a WC, it’s much cheaper than a taxi (305B compared to 1800-2000B) and it’s safe!
The journey takes between 3-4 hours depending on traffic. There is a City Link train from the airport, so you can hop right on that and head straight into the centre of Bangkok (Ramkamhaeng or Phaya Thai) in about 40 minutes.
You should buy your ticket at least 24 hours beforehand if possible as the buses can get full. Tickets can be booked online here.
The journey from BKK > Hua Hin leaves from Level 1, gate 8.
The journey from Hua Hin > BKK leaves from bus station soi 96/1.
For onward travel to Pranburi we recommend public bus or taxi depending on time of day and luggage.
